So I wrote a wrapper around the XNet conversion library to handle going from signals to frames, or from frames to signals. Anyone looking to use a DBC file, on hardware that only supports frame API should use this conversion library, or at least use the XNet conversion sessions.
FFmpeg 5.0 "Lorentz", a new major release, is now available! For this long-overdue release, a major effort underwent to remove the old encode/decode APIs and replace them with an N:M-based API, the entire libavresample library was removed, libswscale has a new, easier to use AVframe-based API, the Vulkan code was much improved, many new filters were added, including libplacebo integration, and finally, DoVi support was added, including tonemapping and remuxing. This library estimates the channel attribution by calculating the Removal Effect (si). Essentially, the Removal Effect is the probability of converting when a step is completely removed; all sequences that had to go through that step are now sent directly to the exit node. This calculation is done by running a large number of simulations on the Markov model with the removed step. By default, it runs 1 million simulations. This occurs for each step present in the data.
Now that you can get a better understanding of your Google Analytics marketing channel data, there is room to explore additional features of ChannelAttribution, reshape, and ggplot2. Bear in mind that although this library is mainly used for channel attribution issues, you can use it for almost any sequenced data. So get creative, and maximize your data's potential!
Before encoding, ffmpeg can process raw audio and video frames usingfilters from the libavfilter library. Several chained filters form a filtergraph. ffmpeg distinguishes between two types of filtergraphs:simple and complex.
This boolean option determines if the filtergraph(s) to which this stream is fed getsreinitialized when input frame parameters change mid-stream. This option is enabled bydefault as most video and all audio filters cannot handle deviation in input frame properties.Upon reinitialization, existing filter state is lost, like e.g. the frame count nreference available in some filters. Any frames buffered at time of reinitialization are lost.The properties where a change triggers reinitialization are,for video, frame resolution or pixel format;for audio, sample format, sample rate, channel count or channel layout.
Unlike Diagnostic data frames which have a defined layout that is well documented and consistent, raw data frames have only the basic CAN frame layout, as shown above, channels one though to eight can represent anything and data can use multiple or single channels with a range of 0 to 255 to represent their values, often the layout is manufacturer or vehicle specific.
ID 520 will always represent those four pieces of information on the diagnostic port, but the data itself may change values. Although eight bytes are used to represent the data of the frame, only the first four channels of the frame are actually In use potentially wasting 4 bytes of bandwidth. The reasoning behind this is manufacturer specific; it is unknown why they chose to represent these four values only and leave other channels empty.

Coupled with the record and playback methods, brute force data injection can also be used. The method of feeding in frames one by one starting at ID 0 and fluctuating each channel from 0 to 255 allows for the documenting of behaviours the module supports but the vehicle may not and behaviours that may not have been possible to activate manually such as engine or airbag faults.
During the process, it was discovered that In order to move the dials you need to feed an enable frame with ID 246 and specific channel values into the cluster every few seconds or the dials will lock back in position zero. You can then send the frames for speed, RPM and fuel level to have the dials move.
Incidentally, it was observed that the frame that enabled the dials also happens to contain the channel for oil temperature, engines status, the mileage counter and the indicator lights thus solving the missing values problem.
Read all data in channel group 29 into a timetable using the read function. The timetable is structured to follow the ASAM MDF standard logging format. Every row represents one raw CAN frame from the bus, while each column represents a channel within the specified channel group. The channels, such as "CAN_DataFrame.Dir", are named to follow the bus logging standard. However, because timetable column names must be valid MATLAB variable names, they may not be identical to the channel names. Most unsupported characters are converted to underscores. Since "." is not supported in a MATLAB variable name, "CAN_DataFrame.Dir" is altered to "CAN_DataFrame_Dir" in the table.
In the example above, data_callback() is where audio data is written and read from the device.The idea is in playback mode you cause sound to be emitted from the speakers by writing audio datato the output buffer (pOutput in the example). In capture mode you read data from the inputbuffer (pInput) to extract sound captured by the microphone. The frameCount parameter tells youhow many frames can be written to the output buffer and read from the input buffer. A "frame" isone sample for each channel. For example, in a stereo stream (2 channels), one frame is 2samples: one for the left, one for the right. The channel count is defined by the device config.The size in bytes of an individual sample is defined by the sample format which is also specifiedin the device config. Multi-channel audio data is always interleaved, which means the samples foreach frame are stored next to each other in memory. For example, in a stereo stream the first pairof samples will be the left and right samples for the first frame, the second pair of samples willbe the left and right samples for the second frame, etc.
The macOS build should compile cleanly without the need to download any dependencies nor link toany libraries or frameworks. The iOS build needs to be compiled as Objective-C and will need tolink the relevant frameworks but should compile cleanly out of the box with Xcode. Compilingthrough the command line requires linking to -lpthread and -lm.
A frame is a group of samples equal to the number of channels. For a stereo stream a frame is 2samples, a mono frame is 1 sample, a 5.1 surround sound frame is 6 samples, etc. The terms "frame"and "PCM frame" are the same thing in miniaudio. Note that this is different to a compressed frame.If ever miniaudio needs to refer to a compressed frame, such as a FLAC frame, it will alwaysclarify what it's referring to with something like "FLAC frame".
Note that when you're not using a device, you must set the channel count and sample rate in theconfig or else miniaudio won't know what to use (miniaudio will use the device to determine thisnormally). When not using a device, you need to use ma_engine_read_pcm_frames() to process audiodata from the engine. This kind of setup is useful if you want to do something like offlineprocessing.
In the custom processing callback (my_custom_node_process_pcm_frames() in the example above), thenumber of channels for each bus is what was specified by the config when the node was initializedwith ma_node_init(). In addition, all attachments to each of the input buses will have beenpre-mixed by miniaudio. The config allows you to specify different channel counts for eachindividual input and output bus. It's up to the effect to handle it appropriate, and if it can't,return an error in it's initialization routine.
If the format, channel count or sample rate is not supported by the output file type an error willbe returned. The encoder will not perform data conversion so you will need to convert it beforeoutputting any audio data. To output audio data, use ma_encoder_write_pcm_frames(), like in theexample below:
Conversion between sample formats is achieved with the ma_pcm_*_to_*(), ma_pcm_convert() andma_convert_pcm_frames_format() APIs. Use ma_pcm_*_to_*() to convert between two specificformats. Use ma_pcm_convert() to convert based on a ma_format variable. Usema_convert_pcm_frames_format() to convert PCM frames where you want to specify the frame countand channel count as a variable instead of the total sample count.
In addition to converting from one channel count to another, like the example above, the channelconverter can also be used to rearrange channels. When initializing the channel converter, you canoptionally pass in channel maps for both the input and output frames. If the channel counts are thesame, and each channel map contains the same channel positions with the exception that they're ina different order, a simple shuffling of the channels will be performed. If, however, there is nota 1:1 mapping of channel positions, or the channel counts differ, the input channels will be mixedbased on a mixing mode which is specified when initializing the ma_channel_converter_configobject.
The ma_pcm_rb_init() function takes the sample format and channel count as parameters becauseit's the PCM varient of the ring buffer API. For the regular ring buffer that operates on bytes youwould call ma_rb_init() which leaves these out and just takes the size of the buffer in bytesinstead of frames. The fourth parameter is an optional pre-allocated buffer and the fifth parameteris a pointer to a ma_allocation_callbacks structure for custom memory allocation routines.Passing in NULL for this results in MA_MALLOC() and MA_FREE() being used. 2ff7e9595c
