Velvet Colección (Velvet Collection) is a Spanish comedy-drama television series produced by Bambú Producciones for Movistar+. The series is the sequel to Velvet, which was created for Antena 3. The first season contains 10 episodes, and premiered on 21 September 2017 on #0 and Movistar+'s VOD service.[1] The series, set in Barcelona in the 1960s, follows the opening of a new Galerías Velvet fashion store.[2]
The series was initially renewed for a third season in 2018, but on 8 March 2019, it was announced that instead of the third series, there would be a Christmas Special, shown in 2019, closing the series.[4]

Binge-watching is a blessing and a curse. If you're like us, you've already finished all 10 episodes of the Velvet spin-off Velvet Collection way too quickly. However, don't despair because to help with those withdrawals, the stars of the Spanish show are taking fans behind the scenes as they film the highly anticipated Season 2.
Marta Hazas, who plays Clara Montesinos on the series, recently shared a photo alongside Diego Martin (Enrique) and new addition Marta Torne (Paloma) on her Instagram page. "We have already started shooting the second season of Velvet Collection," she wrote. Adrian Lastra (Pedro Infantes) also shared his excitement about the renewal, and thanked fans on the social media platform. "It makes us happy to know that Velvet Collection is loved so much around the world thanks to Netflix," he captioned a fun photo with castmate Javier Rey (Mateo Ruiz) on his shoulders. "Thanks from my heart to all the world for continuing to enjoy this wonderful story. In Spain, we continuing recording the second season."
No official release date has been announced, but Netfix users will probably have to wait until 2019 to see the new episodes after they air overseas. So, what can we expect from Season 2? Warning: Spoilers ahead!
At the finale of Velvet, fans finally got to see Ana and Alberto, played by Paula Echevarria and Miguel Ángel Silvestre respectively, finally get the happily ever after they deserved. However, you won't be seeing much of the couple in the spin-off. While Ana is there in the first couple of episodes to see the grand opening of the Velvet store in Barcelona, she promptly returns to New York City and the supporting characters step in to bring the fashion (think '60s miniskirts and bikinis) and the drama. We also recommend having a few tissues ready for those episodes. AKA a major character dies.
If you've exhausted your Netflix queue after finishing the first season of Velvet Colección and have been scrolling the platform aimlessly waiting for the next Spanish-language show to binge-watch, we have great news for you. The VC cast just announced a second season would be dropping on Netflix, and the release date is sooner than you might expect.
"The best for Valentine's day!! February 14 is the @netflix @netflixlat premiere of the second season of Velvet Colección," the actor continued in Spanish. Marta Hazas, who plays Clara, echoed her co-star, writing, "How do I tell you, Mateíto."
"Starting on February 14, you'll be able to watch the second season of Velvet Colección on #netflix, even if you're not in Spain." This is because the second season of our favorite Barcelona drama has already been released on Spain's Movistar+ network.
Season 2 will span 10 episodes, and it promises to be even more drama-filled than the first. The year is 1967, and the Galerías Velvet successfully went from being a Madrid-based department store to a leading global fashion house based out of Barcelona.
The season begins when the Velvet group receives their biggest commission yet: to dress Farah Diba, the queen of Iran, for her coronation ceremony. It would be a dream assignment, except the team has to deal with the Iranian ambassador, whose sketchy intentions might get in the way of Velvet's plans.

According to Davy, Demie chimed in with lots of creative ideas for Maddy's look heading into season two, including this look featuring a sharp double-wing liner against a neutral pink eye shadow. It's understated, yet elegant.
Kat is going through a self-discovery-slash-identity-crisis in "Euphoria's" second season. To match Kat's inner turmoil, Davy brought "a playful freshness to Kat's makeup" compared with last season. She experimented with chartreuse eyeshadow paired with a clean lower lash line. Here, Ferreira wears brown lip liner and gloss to complement the '90s-inspired hair.
In the first episode of season two, Cassie wears tiny rhinestones scattered neatly over a pink-peach eyeshadow wing. Davy gave Cassie a dewy look with "super flushy cheeks and lips" for the premiere to give the impression that she'd been making out or crying (or both), or that she'd been "nervously biting her lip."
Rue's staple glitter tears from season one will never not be iconic. In episode two, we see Rue shed hallucinated gold, glittery tears created from Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art in Desert Dazzle ($10), and episode eight has her wearing iridescent ColourPop The Zodiac Shadow Palette shimmer to the winter formal. To accentuate the look, Zendaya also wore Chanel Calligraphie de Chanel Longwear Intense Cream Eyeliner ($35).
Davy went with a red-eyed gothic look for Jules in the season-one finale. She wears Face Lace's iridescent eye-framing stick-ons ($19) with Urban Decay red eyeliner ($10), Claropsyche red eyeshadow ($100, originally $120), and Vapour Beauty cream blush ($36).
This makeup look might take the cake. Cassie's rhinestone-heavy turquoise-and-green Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome Eyeshadow ($4, originally $8) base is one of season one's most memorable looks. The foundation used here is Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation ($44), with MAC Lip Pencil ($19) and MAC Pink Lipstick ($19) blended to give Cassie this lip shade. On top of the bluish-emerald base, the makeup artists used ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($4) covered in Rhinestone Stickers ($11). Sweeney is wearing MAC Mineralize Blush ($30) for a natural tint.
Its manifestations in MFMM are hugely varied and, with some poetic licence, extend from pale mauve satin, delicate lilac chiffon and soft lavender feathers, to deep, rich violet felts and noble purple itself in plush velvet. Series 3 sees on-going glimpses as well as long, lingering gazes at its tonal palette. 2ff7e9595c
